Total Surface Area: 450 sqm
Project Status: Completed
Date: 2003-2005, project financed through EU funding
General designer and design for architecture, installations, interiors, quality site supervision

This Bed and Breakfast was built with European Union funding, located in the village of Moeciu, Brasov county, hosting a total of 16 rooms and complementary functions.

Through its distinctive architecture, it strongly contrasts with its built surroundings, integrating the project in the natural landscape of the valley.

Using the accentuated slope of the roof framing, the volume starts at ground level and stretches to the mountain’s crests that make up the landscape, the scenery that envelops the building.

Strong angles and sharp edges make up the silhouette of this Bed and Breakfast, inspired from the mountain-specific architectural language, interpreting it in a contemporary manner.

During the project, OOPY Architecture offered both design and financial consultancy services.
