The urban intervention for the headquarters of a local company from Bucharest proposes restructuring the access of an existing ensemble. The architectural project aims to remodel the fencing and guarding point consisting of a small building.
An unitary image was created by consistency of plastic expression for all elements the are part of the intervention. Both the guard-cabin and the enclosure were treated with rusty finishes proposed in a similar pattern.
In addition to the base finish, metallic elements in two shades were introduced, both as fence panels as well as gates. These elements are also present for the cabin extension with a structurally independent cover that covers the pedestrian circulation.
The contrast of textures and colors, as well as the harmony of proportions being created, offer a new identity to this access by elevating it into a signal element in the urban public space.
