The project is centered around efficiency and functionality, comprising a metal and precast concrete framework with precast outer wall panels. The project closely followed the optimal use of space principles which were reflected in the flow of both stationary and transit goods, thus allowing prompt loading and unloading of goods. Location: Retail Park Focsani, Vrancea, Bistrita Shopping Gallery, Bistrita-Nasaud, Romania Total Surface Area: 650-800sqm Project Status: Completed Date: 2017-2018 General designer and design for architecture, structure, installations, permitting A brand for products, materials and accessories dedicated to sports, for everyday needs, accessible and friendly. Shops are medium-sized, placed in malls, commercial centers with multiple functions and it promotes the concept of a complementary community shop holding sports products. Commercial spaces are well-known for their visual concept consistency, based on the company brand identity, having vivid colors, an easy to remember name and logo. The brand is present in multiple locations, according to the newest trends and market requirements, offering products that are necessary for everyday life. Piatra Neamt Adridan
Location: Piatra Neamt, Neamt, Romania Total Surface Area: sqm Project Status: Completed Date: 2016-2017 General and specialty design for architecture, structure, design coordination, installations, interior design and execution supervision, technical assistance, tendering, permitting The investment represents the first medium-sized store using the cash & carry system for an important actor in the local county market of consumer products and general goods (food and nonfood). The project included the sales hall with closures, structure and installations, the layout of the store with flows and function, the furnishing of the space with shelves, as well as the exteriors with land improvement, special foundations, roads and platforms and vertical systematization, retaining walls and slopes. 19 Iride Offices
Location: 9-9A Dimitrie Pompei Bvd., Obiectiv 19, Bucharest, Romania Total Surface Area: 22657 sqm Project Status: Completed Date: 2019-2020 General designer and design for architecture, structure, design coordination, installations, permitting Client: IRIDE S.A.Optim Interior Design Photo: Mihai Covrig The project was aimed at renewal of an existing office building, Iride 19, completed in 2005, and bring it to conformity on existing operation and fire safety standards. A full modification of internal space designations was proposed and it covered all levels of the office building. The construction spans five leves, respectively: underground, ground floor and three levels, and undergoing modernization is BREEAM certified. Facade areas affected by remodelling have been rebuilt, exterior Reynobond type platings were replaced with courtain walls on the ground floor area. The glazed area was executed with courtain walls (anodized oxidation painted aluminum profiles), insulated windows (outside secured – taking into account the solar factor, dual-pane on the inside), complete system (pressure cap, decorative cap, drippers). The entrance was redesigned and the main building access consists of a revolving door and two side doors opening towards outside. The internal spacing, ceilings, floors and traffic areas have been rebuilt and upgraded to present fire proofing standards. Outside pedestrian areas included in the refurbishment and expansion of the main building were rebuilt using interlocking tiles bordered by precast concrete prebuilt curb-stones. Landscaping was carried out on the building’s perimeter and interior light courts on the ground floor, using grass, cold-resistant decorative shrubs and trees. The automatic fire extinguishing installation using sprinklers was entirely rebuilt along with the fire detection and alarm system. Smoke screens and open drencher curtains were placed on the interior courts’ facades to protect the enclosed areas. The project received 2022 BigSEE Slovenia Award. Christian Hoppe (www.hoppe.at/home.html)Photo: Mihai Covrig The project was aimed at renewal for an existing office building, Iride 18, completed in 2005, and bring it to conformity on existing operation and fire safety standards. A full modification of internal space designations was proposed and it covered all levels of the office building. Two outside access pathways to the first floor of the buidling were dismantled. Due to these modifications it was necessary to rebuild the affected facade areas. A new metal frame stairway was built in the lobby that has an intermediate platform which links the ground floor with the first floor. The internal compartment walls on the ground floors between the traffic areas of the main facade have been reconfigured through a lobby area resizing and also a cafe and meeting room with a view towards the interior light courtyards were created. The project received 2022 BigSEE Slovenia Award. Mogosoaia G+1E+A Home
Location: Mogosoaia, Ilfov, Romania Total Surface Area: 300 sqm Project Status: Completed Date: 2006 General designer and design of architecture, structure, installations Two offset halves join together to form a complete volumetric composition. The use of curved geometry accentuates the linear junctions of volumes, the gaps giving rise to accesses. The construction curves are accentuated in the exterior design through successive wooden panels and perimeter sidewalks. On the inside, the volumes generate a fluid circulation in the open space of the ground floor, polarized by the core comprising the living room and the dining room. Unlike the open ground floor, the first-floor segments the interior into several spacious bedrooms. A generous void is left in the staircase area, which allows a visual link between the two levels, aided also by the slightly curved staircase that follows the outer wall. The house’s interior has been remodeled, the living room has been extended with a covered terrace that opens onto the private courtyard, and the facades of the building have been redesigned. Location: Romania Total Surface Area: 100-2400 sqm Project Status: Underway Date: 2007-present General designer and design for architecture, structure, installations, interior design, quality site supervision Interior Design for one of our oldest clients, Banca Comerciala Romana, which aims to implement the design concept of BCR – Erste Bank‘s visual identity, in all its banking branches. Developed on a national scale, the projects include contemporary buildings, monuments or buildings located in protected areas and spaces in various shopping centers. Each agency or location is individually designed, starting from a guiding concept based on the visual identity of the brand. The interior designs include open client areas, such as: receptions and client support, financial education and information kiosks, children’s place, coffee-points and a variety of informal discussion areas as well as meeting or counseling rooms. In addition to the client area, all locations provide open plan offices, dining rooms, changing rooms and other technical spaces accessible only to employees. Mogosoaia G+1 Home
Location: Mogosoaia, Ilfov, Romania Total Surface Area: 400 sqm Project Status: Completed Date: 2016 General designer and design for architecture, structure, installations, interiors A strong volume, framed by curved metal, creates a defined link between the private and the public space. The boat, a dynamic and, at the same time, a patron symbol, helping the traveler on his way, materializes in this project through the contoured core, supported by the two outer shells. This alluring shape, along with the volume of the living space, creates the feeling of hovering and suspension. The architectural language is complemented by the chosen finishes that center on tactile sensations and recovering our connection with nature. The exterior is marked by the hardness of the copper laid in the recessed plates over the concrete shell. The home presents an interior dominated by the warmth of wood finishes and white plaster that is linked by copper used alongside staircases. Estera Residence Duplex Home

Popescu 3D: Cristian Moga Not being iconoclastic, one can say that the image of this house is inspired by F. L. Wright „Prairie” houses, defined by their strong geometry and their horizontal development, with detached external structures, extended walls, big consoles and large terraces. The brick finishing, characteristic to this style, was replaced with another one having the same warmth, as wood, finally generating a strong connection between the house and the land. As a result, the whole building is clad with wood panels, combined with cold finishes – the stone and the metal frames from the windows. The access gates make the connection between the house and the surrounding nature by using the predominant materials inside – wood, stone and metal, delimiting the street property firmly, but discreetly. Sunlight and full use of natural light were some of the central elements of the architectural concept. The glass surfaces – doors, railings – almost invisible due to the scarcity of elements made of other materials, give the feeling of fluidity and transparency, contributing, in turn, to the free roaming of light as well as the shadows of nearby trees. The interior was flexibly designed: open space with asymmetrical level plans – elements designed to support the harmony between interior and exterior, while offering all the functions required by the beneficiary: on the ground floor there are the living room, kitchen, bathroom and a technical room, and upstairs – three bedrooms, one double, two bathrooms and a dressing room. The house design considers an ecologic perspective, benefiting from a BMS system, the most recent technologies: low energy use, smart and effective heating system (underfloor heating), cooling, up to the blinds and sunshades’ control. The project received the 2022 BigSEE Award, Slovenia.
