The TANO candy factory was founded in the autumn of 2002 and is part of the “GHE. STUBEANU” group of companies from Giurgiu. The history of the TANO brand began with three assortments of wafers, made on a manual production line, reaching today over 40 high quality assortments.

The factory located in the village of Remus has been modernized and expanded several times in recent years, OOPY Arhitectura collaborating, as a designer, at several stages. In this context, in 2016, together with one of the modernization and expansion stages, we presented a comprehensive approach in which the whole ensemble is reconsidered from scratch, both functionally and conceptually.

Layouts and technological flow proposals for production were made, together with annexes, technical and warehouse spaces, platforms and relationship with the neighborhoods. The images represent volumetric solutions of the concept and study of facades made for this stage of solutions analysis.
